My wife Angela and I, along with our five daughters, came to Arvon in March of 2016. Angela and I met at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA while studying for ministry.
We are passionate about helping people discover their God-given talents and helping them find places to put those gifts into action. After many years of church ministry, we have discovered that every single person is really great at something! Because we really believe this is true, we are so thankful that we belong to a church family that agrees!
Our church is big on "mission". Whether it is local outreach events like Operation InAsMuch, feeding the hungry through our growing pantry ministry, supporting our local public schools through our back-pack ministry, helping a nearby crisis pregnancy center, sending a blessing to a child in a distant land through Operation Christmas Child, feeding the destitute around the Globe through Rise Against Hunger, or bringing a smile to our home-bound friends, we are intentional about serving others. Arvon Baptist has given Angela and me a powerful network through which we can accomplish so much more than we could on our own. And, it can do the same for you.
